Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Analyst ensures that products, systems, applications, and business procedures conform to established quality standards and fulfill business needs. This role emphasizes defect prevention, product quality enhancement, risk identification, and delivering a superior customer experience while maintaining compliance with organizational, regulatory, and operational policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze business requirements, functional specs, user stories, and technical designs.
  • Participate in gathering requirements and designing solutions.
  • Identify inconsistencies, gaps, ambiguities, and risks within requirements.
  • Ensure requirements are measurable and testable.
  • Offer quality-oriented recommendations during product development.
  • Create test plans aligned with project goals.
  • Design thorough test scenarios, cases, and scripts.
  • Prepare test data and set up testing environments.
  • Define criteria for test phase entry and exit.
  • Conduct various testing types: functional, system, integration, regression, end-to-end, sanity, smoke, and user acceptance testing support.
  • Validate business and technical requirements through testing; verify outcomes meet expectations.
  • Document defects accurately, prioritize by business impact, coordinate with developers on resolution, verify fixes, and perform regression testing after corrections.
  • Adhere to testing standards and methodologies; support audits and quality reviews.
  • Engage in release governance to ensure regulatory and operational compliance.
  • Support and execute automated test scripts; analyze automation outcomes; suggest automation opportunities and contribute to ongoing continuous testing efforts.
  • Provide timely updates on testing progress, report risks and quality issues, present testing metrics and findings, participate in Agile meetings, and assist in go-live evaluations and release decisions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Between 2 to 5 years of professional experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance.
  • Proficiency testing web-based and mobile applications.
  • Experience working in Agile frameworks.
  • Background in sectors such as Banking, Fintech, Telecommunications, Insurance, or Digital Products.
  • Familiarity with test automation tools and continuous testing processes.
  • Experience with API and integration testing and cloud-based applications.
