QC Executive for Fruits and Vegetables - Agriculture Graduates Required (Contractual)

Position Overview

A leading e-commerce firm in India is seeking a Quality Control Executive specializing in Fruits and Vegetables (FnV) on a contractual basis in Bengaluru. This role is ideal for agriculture graduates with experience in quality assurance within the fresh produce sector.

Core Responsibilities

• Verify daily quality reports received from various suppliers and warehouses.
• Carry out physical inspections of fruits and vegetables when required.
• Compile and summarize quality control, training, rejection, and complaint reports; communicate key findings to internal stakeholders.
• Perform root cause analysis for customer complaints and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
• Validate the effectiveness of corrective actions undertaken by suppliers.
• Conduct frequent supplier site visits to audit compliance and deliver training sessions.
• Track and close audit non-conformities diligently.
• Monitor supplier performance continuously and provide strategic recommendations for improvement.

Candidate Profile and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture required.
• Minimum one year of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within the fruits and vegetables sector.
• Practical knowledge of FnV specifications and QC processing methods.
