QA / QC Technician

Plastic Company is a Doha-based organization specializing in plastics manufacturing, located in the New Industrial Area of Qatar. The company focuses on producing and handling HDPE plastic materials and associated products.

Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time, on-site QA / QC Technician and documents controller in Doha, Qatar. The incumbent will conduct systematic inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished plastic goods to ensure compliance with both internal company standards and external regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection and testing of materials and products to verify quality standards.
• Record and analyze test results and identify any deviations or nonconformities.
• Assist in implementing corrective measures to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain calibration and ensure proper use of measuring instruments and laboratory equipment.
• Adhere strictly to documented procedures and support internal and external quality audits.
• Prepare detailed quality reports and collaborate with production teams to resolve issues and improve process reliability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and maintain a safe, organized work environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven expertise in Quality Control and Assurance, preferably within manufacturing or plastics industry environments.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in quality management systems, documentation, and compliance standards.
• Competency in calibration and routine maintenance of laboratory and testing equipment.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical data and effectively use laboratory tools and software.
• Technical diploma or degree in engineering, materials science, or related area; recognized certifications in quality control advantageous.
• Prior exposure to industrial or production settings, primarily plastics or similar materials, is highly desirable.
• Willingness to work on-site in Doha, adhere to safety protocols, and collaborate successfully in multidisciplinary teams.
