Role Overview

We invite experienced QA Engineers to join our dynamic fintech team in the payments sector. This role involves critical participation in product development by converting product requirements into test cases and spearheading testing efforts across multiple complex B2B software initiatives. The focus is to guarantee superior quality assurance for our product releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, scripts, and reports for diverse software assignments spanning various technology platforms.
• Contribute to establishing and refining best practices aimed at enhancing quality control while proactively identifying opportunities to advance internal procedures related to product release and defect resolution.
• Collaborate effectively with product owners, developers, UX/UI designers, support analysts, and technical writers.
• Document defects clearly and communicate precise quantitative and qualitative feedback based on test outcomes to the development team.
• Monitor quality assurance metrics such as defect density and outstanding defect numbers, consistently tracking resolution progress and providing status updates.
• Confirm that every product iteration meets stipulated requirements and delivers exemplary user experience.
• Keep updated on emerging testing tools and methodologies.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technology/science field is strongly preferred.
• Between zero to two years of practical experience in both manual and automated software testing roles.
• Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Prior experience testing payment systems or ERP accounting software is advantageous.
• Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies in a professional setting.
• Strong self-management skills with the ability to prioritize, coordinate, and complete tasks independently.
• Detail-oriented and committed to following quality standards and best practices.
• Skilled in creating test plans and managing defect tracking workflows.
• Familiarity with Jira and TestRail for issue tracking and test management.
• Competence in both black box and white box testing techniques.
• Preferred experience in conducting regression, ticket-based, and performance testing.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and a collaborative working style.
• This position requires onsite presence.
