Purchase Procurement Supply Chain Manager

Overview

V-Tronik Innovation LLP invites applications for the role of Purchase Manager. The position is open to both male and female candidates. The work location is initially at Peenya for 1-2 months, after which the office will move to Infantry Road near Vidhan Soudha. During the office transition, there is an option to work from a co-working space at Infantry Road temporarily.

Work Schedule and Benefits

The working days are six per week, from Monday to Saturday, with Sundays off. Office hours run from 9 AM to 6 PM. Eligible employees will receive ESIC and PF benefits along with insurance, bonus, gratuity, leaves in accordance with labor laws, annual increments, travel allowance, and a retention bonus after five years of service. Salary is negotiable depending on experience, ranging between 40,000 and 50,000 INR per month.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute procurement strategies to optimize costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
• Identify, assess, and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost, ethics, and sustainability standards.
• Negotiate contracts to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and agreements beneficial to both parties.
• Engage with internal teams to assess requirements and align procurement efforts with company objectives.
• Conduct ongoing market research to stay informed of industry trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing changes.
• Manage supplier relations, including performance monitoring, resolving issues, and fostering long-term partnerships.
• Supervise inventory by analyzing demand trends and applying management strategies to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Implement procurement systems and tools to streamline operations and boost process efficiency.
• Continuously improve procurement procedures, identify cost savings, and enhance processes.
• Prepare and communicate reports detailing procurement performance and cost savings to senior management.
• Promote sustainable and ethical sourcing, including support for local suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and procurement regulations.

Candidate Requirements

• Fluency in English with effective communication skills; knowledge of Kannada is preferred.
• Proficient typing skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, spreadsheet formulas, and Microsoft Outlook for email management.
• Experience between 5 and 10 years in procurement or supply chain roles.
