Overview
We are seeking a Purchase Executive to join our team in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, overseeing procurement processes, and ensuring optimal inventory management to support company operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with vendors to guarantee a dependable supply chain.
- Conduct negotiations on pricing, delivery conditions, and contract terms to achieve cost-effectiveness.
- Execute procurement tasks including creating Purchase Orders, monitoring shipment status, and assessing product quality upon receipt.
- Manage inventory levels by forecasting needs to avoid both surplus and shortages.
- Work closely with warehouse, production, and finance departments to ensure coherent operations and prompt payment to suppliers.
- Compile reports detailing procurement activities, cost evaluations, and market developments.
