Proposal / Tender Engineer

Overview

We seek a driven and energetic Proposal / Tender Engineer to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be integral to tendering and preliminary contract activities by crafting competitive proposals, carefully assessing contract demands, and blending commercial, technical, and execution strategies.

Key Duties

• Act as the company's representative during pre-bid meetings, site assessments, and clarifications after tender submissions.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure proposal approaches meet client needs and project goals.
• Develop and submit thorough bid proposals encompassing rate analysis, bill of quantities, and risk mitigation plans.
• Examine and interpret commercial and technical tender document requirements.
• Perform precise quantity calculations, cost evaluations, and budget forecasting for diverse mechanical and electrical scopes.
• Create detailed cost breakdowns and pricing frameworks for managerial review and client presentation.
• Engage in negotiations and contract finalizations with clients and subcontractors.
• Generate and forward Request for Quotation packages, along with commercial and technical proposal presentations.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in contracts management, electrical quantity surveying, or project management within the mechanical and electrical sector.
• Holds a minimum Diploma qualification in Electrical Engineering, Contracts Management, or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in preparing BOQs, cost estimations, and technical documents in accordance with tender specifications.
