About the Role
Healthcare Improvement Scotland invites applications for the position of Project Officer (Band 5) offering a salary range of 34,544 to 43,039. The role can be full time (36 hours per week) or part time, with hybrid working arrangements in place primarily based in Edinburgh or Glasgow. This permanent position offers a unique chance to gain diverse experience by rotating every 6 months to 2 years across different Directorates or priority areas within the organisation, contributing to multiple national health and care programmes across Scotland.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage and support project and operational activities.
- Prepare progress updates and conduct risk management reporting.
- Engage stakeholders and manage events effectively.
- Undertake research, gather information, and produce comprehensive reports.
Required Skills and Attributes
Successful candidates will demonstrate adaptability to work across various projects, proactive problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong communication and interpersonal capabilities to ensure high-quality outcomes delivered on schedule. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project planning software, and online tools such as MS Teams is essential to support hybrid work environments.
