About the role

The Project Management Officer supports project and program delivery within Spatial Planning. The position helps ensure initiatives are delivered efficiently, with a focus on continuous improvement, reporting, evaluation and evidence-based decisions. It also supports governance groups and key stakeholders.

This role contributes to strengthening project management systems, processes and reporting; preparing recommendations and reports; identifying risks and opportunities; and supporting successful project delivery. It also plays an important part in building stakeholder relationships and helping ensure programs are delivered to best-practice standards in support of planning outcomes across Victoria.

Qualifications and experience

• Proven experience in project management, or experience delivering projects or working in a related area, is required.
• Experience with project management tools and systems such as PMO365, or similar platforms, is considered highly desirable.
