About SCOOP (SG)
SCOOP (SG) is a youth-centered organization committed to equipping young individuals with the confidence, skills, and opportunities to thrive in meaningful employment. Partnering with employers, educators, and community organizations, SCOOP develops Job Tasters, workshops, and experiential learning programmes that allow youths to explore a variety of careers and industries.
Role Overview
As a Program Associate, you will actively contribute to the creation and execution of these career exploration initiatives. This hands-on position involves programme design, stakeholder coordination, and operational management. You will collaborate closely with employers and partners to build impactful career exploration programs and work alongside the Events team to ensure smooth and effective delivery, constantly refining and expanding these offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceive, develop, and implement Job Tasters, workshops, and experiential learning schemes tailored for youths.
- Convert workplace experiences into engaging and instructive learning opportunities.
- Outline the structure of programmes, design learning activities, and plan participant engagement journeys.
- Collaborate with the Events team to manage the entire delivery process from initial planning to final execution.
- Collect and analyze feedback from participants and partners to enhance programme effectiveness continuously.
- Create standardized materials such as playbooks, templates, and SOPs to facilitate scalable programme implementation.
- Coordinate with employers, educational institutions, and community organizations throughout all stages of programme development and delivery.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and communications with stakeholders to ensure efficient operation.
- Foster strong partnerships to guarantee high-quality programme results.
Candidate Profile
- Proactive self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and problem-solving ability.
- Exceptional organizational and programme management skills, capable of juggling multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
- Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with employers, schools, community partners, and youth participants.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for improving programmes through research, feedback, and iterative design.
- Adaptable, resourceful, and able to excel in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
- Genuine passion for youth development, enhancing career readiness, and crafting impactful learning experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in programme management, operations, event marketing, or community engagement.
- Background in youth development, career readiness, or education sectors.
- Familiarity with productivity tools such as Google Workspace, relational databases, and Excel.
- Relevant diploma or degree in education, communications, business, social sciences, or related disciplines.
