Role Overview
The Professional Education Specialist will play a pivotal role in managing projects, developing training content, and supporting professional education events like labs, live demonstrations, and virtual sessions. The role involves extensive collaboration and communication with internal teams and external stakeholders as well as tracking and reporting department activities. Supporting the Senior Manager of Professional Education and working independently with sound judgment are key aspects of this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of peer-to-peer programs, overseeing engagements with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), including communications, scheduling, documentation, and evaluations.
- Work alongside stakeholders to design and implement healthcare professional training modules.
- Plan and conduct wet and dry lab sessions aligned with department goals.
- Create program materials such as communication pieces, data tracking tools, calendars, brochures, and decision aids in partnership with subject matter experts.
- Develop and roll out virtual educational programs in coordination with internal and external partners.
- Assist in planning and attending professional education events.
- Coordinate meetings and other events that support the department's objectives.
- Analyze program trends, identify areas for improvement, and report findings to the Senior Manager.
- Maintain engagement platforms to optimize effectiveness.
- Provide suggestions to enhance efficiency and meet department targets.
- Lead project management efforts ensuring successful delivery of initiatives.
- Monitor compliance with relevant regulations and report any nonconformities.
- Adhere to FDA regulations, company policies, and procedures in all activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
- One to three years’ experience in the medical device or healthcare industry.
- Proven track record in program implementation including planning, execution, and evaluation.
- Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, timelines, and regulatory considerations.
- Ability to handle concurrent assignments effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Strong relationship-building skills with healthcare professionals, including physicians and KOLs.
- Adaptability working independently in flexible, often virtual settings.
- Collaborative mindset with demonstrated success within team environments.
- Experience organizing professional meetings and events with seamless communication and execution.
- Competent with project management software tools for tracking and coordination.
- Capability to manage sensitive and confidential information discreetly and professionally.

Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary range for this role is between $130,000 and $140,000.
