Job Overview
We are looking for a full-time Production Worker II (Trade Assistant) to support our fabrication team. The role reports to the Fabrication Team Leader and Operations Manager and involves assisting with various fabrication tasks within a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings, taking measurements to plan layouts and procedures.
- Prepare cutting lists and organize materials needed for fabrication.
- Assemble sub-components to support the fabrication process.
- Conduct basic pressure testing on parts and assemblies.
- Perform oxygen cleaning on components to ensure safety standards.
- Handle workshop cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Ensure that equipment is maintained in safe operating condition.
- Collaborate closely with the fabrication team and follow instructions from the team leader.
Qualifications
- Possession of a current driver's license with manual driving ability is preferred.
- Forklift license is desirable.
- Consistently punctual, dependable, and hardworking.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Previous experience in logistics or warehouse environments will be highly regarded.
