Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site position in Abu Dhabi for a Procurement and Marketing Officer. The role combines purchasing and marketing responsibilities to support oilfield operations and business development.
Procurement Responsibilities
You will handle sourcing and buying of equipment, materials, and services needed for oilfield activities. This includes gathering quotations, discussing terms with suppliers, coordinating deliveries, tracking stock availability, and making sure purchasing is carried out in line with internal policies and quality expectations.
Marketing Responsibilities
On the marketing side, you will help plan and implement campaigns, create promotional content and presentation materials, and coordinate company participation in industry events and client interactions. You will also support outreach efforts that strengthen brand presence and business opportunities.
Analysis and Reporting
The role also involves reviewing market trends and competitor activity, preparing regular updates on procurement and marketing results, and working closely with operations, finance, and sales teams to support business goals.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Ability to carry out market research and marketing activities for targeted campaigns in the oil and gas sector.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills for dealing with suppliers, clients, and internal stakeholders, along with preparing professional reports and presentations.
- Experience with social media marketing and sales support to assist with lead generation, brand awareness, and customer engagement.
- Background in procurement, sourcing, vendor coordination, and basic contract discussions, ideally within oilfield or industrial settings.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Good analytical and numeracy skills, plus confidence using MS Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong planning and coordination abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage several priorities in a busy work environment.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi and collaborate with a multicultural team.
- Experience in the Middle East oil and gas market, along with knowledge of procurement rules and best practices, will be considered an advantage.
