Role overview

What you will do
- Write and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
- Create end-to-end, UI, and regression test coverage.
- Set up cross-browser testing across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit.
- Build automation frameworks from the ground up or strengthen existing ones.
- Connect automated tests with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
- Run tests, investigate failures, and prepare reports.
- Partner with developers and QA teams to improve testability and coverage.
- Use parallel runs, retries, and other optimization methods to improve execution efficiency.
- Create reusable utilities and page object models.
Required expertise
- Hands-on experience with the Playwright automation framework.
- Ability to work in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Understanding of test design approaches such as POM, fixtures, and hooks.
- Experience with API mocking.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps concepts.
- Familiarity with Git-based version control.
