Role Overview

As a Presales Consultant for Planning & Pricing, you will spearhead influential solutions during sales engagements, marketing initiatives, and business development efforts. Your role involves interpreting client requirements into bespoke Planning & Pricing capabilities aligned with business goals. Close collaboration with Professional Services will support the creation of persuasive, high-quality proposals essential for successful deal closure.

The worldwide Centric Planning & Pricing team leads the creation of premier solutions tailored for fashion and retail sectors. Made up of technical and business specialists, the team delivers comprehensive planning systems that drive quantifiable client success. Leveraging deep industry insight and teamwork, the group consistently innovates to help clients optimize operations and meet strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess client business needs to recommend appropriate Planning & Pricing solutions.
• Partner with Sales teams to identify and qualify prospective clients.
• Conduct thorough pre-sales presentations covering all aspects of the Centric Planning Solution suite.
• Customize Centric solutions to fit client purposes through tailored product demonstrations and supporting materials.
• Draft detailed specifications such as Solution Scope and Use Case documents to highlight product advantages and capture business requirements.
• Design solutions addressing complex client challenges and pain points based on requirements analysis.
• Prepare responses to Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposal (RFP).
• Maintain clear understanding of clients’ technology needs, supporting proposal and project teams with strategic and technical insights to secure and implement large-scale, complex solutions.
• Contribute input on potential future features, implementation techniques, and customization guidelines.
• Participate in market campaigns aligned with personal insights into market dynamics and customer needs, ensuring sales presentations remain targeted and effective.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Willingness to travel as required by location and project needs.
• Expertise in Fashion or Specialty Retail Planning processes.
• Proven extensive experience with software related to planning, optimization, and analytics.
• Familiarity with databases and business intelligence/data science tools.
• Strong skills in delivering presentations and software demonstrations to audiences of varying sizes.
• Capability to cultivate multi-tiered trusting relationships with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Adaptability to fast-changing technological and commercial landscapes.
