Role Summary

We are inviting applications for the position of PowerCurve Collections Specialist / Senior Analyst based in Chennai or Bangalore. Candidates with 6 to 12 years of experience can apply. This role involves designing, developing, and enhancing collections decisioning strategies within the Experian PowerCurve platform to maximize recovery and reduce delinquency.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Create, develop, and sustain PowerCurve Collection strategies, workflows, and treatment plans.
• Enhance collection decision logic to boost recovery rates and control delinquency levels.
• Design customer segmentation and treatment tactics based on risk profiles and behaviors.
• Perform simulations and impact analyses to test and validate strategy changes.
• Collaborate with credit risk, collections, IT, and business units to convert requirements into effective PowerCurve rules.
• Support strategic and operational initiatives, ensuring smooth process improvements.
• Offer technical expertise on PowerCurve system functionalities.
• Facilitate integration of PowerCurve with CRM systems, data warehouses, payment systems, and other applications.
• Identify and resolve issues pertaining to system performance, strategies, and data quality.
• Oversee version control and deployment of collection strategies.
• Ensure strategies align with regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Assist with audit preparations, governance frameworks, and documentation upkeep.
• Create comprehensive documentation for strategy logic, workflows, and settings.
• Prepare training materials and conduct sessions for business and operations teams.
• Promote best practices in collections management and decision analytics.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or relevant technical fields.
• At least 5 years’ experience in collections strategy, credit risk analytics, or decision management sectors.
• A minimum of 3 years hands-on with Experian PowerCurve (Collections or Originations modules).
• Proven track record in implementing, optimizing, and monitoring collections strategies.

Technical Competencies

• In-depth knowledge of collections lifecycle, customer segmentation, and treatment methodologies.
• Expertise in relational databases, including query writing, analysis, and optimization.
• Experience in data extraction and validation related to PowerCurve strategy development and deployment.
• Familiarity with data integration, APIs, and enterprise software connectivity.
• Understanding of decision management tools and business rules engines.
• Knowledge of data orchestration, pipelines, and batch processing systems.
• Experience managing code using Git for version control and deployment.
• Good grasp of XML and JSON formats for system integration and data exchange.
• Analytical capability to troubleshoot issues across integrated platforms.

• Experience with PowerCurve Strategy Design Studio (SDS) and PowerCurve Strategy Management (PSM).
• Knowledge of collections operation workflows, dialer strategies, and automation platforms.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks, data privacy laws, and industry standards related to collections.
• Relevant Experian PowerCurve certifications or specialized training.
• Background in large-scale enterprise collections environments.

Additional Information

Location: Bangalore or Chennai with immediate to 30-day notice period required. Compensation to be discussed during interview.
