Power BI Developer

About The Role

We are seeking a Power BI Developer to create impactful business intelligence solutions and cultivate strong client relationships. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining analytical dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights tailored to client needs. Additionally, you will explain how Power BI and related technologies can address client business challenges effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with clients to understand their data analytics requirements and offer tailored BI solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that convert raw data into valuable business insights.
• Collaborate with clients to analyze business data, identify patterns, and propose strategies to enhance business performance.
• Gather and understand client requirements to translate them into effective Power BI implementations.
• Provide expert guidance on Power BI best practices, including data modeling, DAX formulas, and report optimization techniques.
• Partner with the sales team to present BI solutions to potential clients, showcasing the benefits of data-driven decisions.
• Continuously update knowledge of Power BI functionalities and integrate new tools to improve client deliverables.
• Conduct training sessions and create documentation to enable clients to use Power BI tools efficiently.
• Support lead generation efforts by engaging in strategic conversations and presentations highlighting BI solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in Power BI development or as a Business Intelligence specialist.
• Strong technical expertise in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX expressions, Power Query, and effective visualization methods.
• Experience integrating data from multiple sources such as SQL databases, Excel files, and cloud databases.
• Knowledge of database management and ETL processes.
• Proven capability to comprehend client business challenges and develop technical solutions accordingly.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and maintain client relationships simultaneously.
• Understanding of business processes with aptitude to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable recommendations.
