Porter - Multiple Shifts Available

About the Role

LV Petroleum LLC seeks motivated and reliable Porters to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. This role involves a variety of upkeep duties to ensure an inviting environment for customers and staff alike. Candidates are invited to walk in for interviews between 11 AM and 4 PM CST at our location 1750 Salem Rd, Cookeville, TN.

Key Responsibilities

• Regularly clean and disinfect public restrooms, break rooms, and shared spaces.
• Carry out daily maintenance tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Assist in setting up and dismantling events or meetings hosted at the premises.
• Keep track of cleaning supply inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishment.
• Undertake minor repairs and promptly communicate major maintenance issues to the appropriate team.
• Maintain positive interactions with guests and colleagues to foster a welcoming atmosphere.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines to promote a secure workplace.

Candidate Requirements

• Completion of high school or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Previous custodial or cleaning experience is beneficial but not required.
• Physical capability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Meticulous attention to cleanliness and a proactive work ethic.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Flexible schedule availability, including possible evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
