Role Overview

We are on the lookout for a skilled Video Editor to refine and enhance our podcast videos, transforming raw footage into captivating and polished visual stories. Collaboration with the creative team is essential to ensure videos adhere to brand standards and captivate viewers.

Key Responsibilities

• Transform unedited footage into high-quality, engaging videos.
• Use software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, CapCut, and various video/audio editing tools for video enhancement and special effects.
• Design motion graphics, animated titles, lower-thirds, and brand-specific visual elements to enrich podcast video content.
• Improve audio quality by addressing noise reduction, synchronizing audio, equalizing sound, and optimizing overall audio performance.
• Edit full podcast episodes and convert longer podcast content into short-form videos suitable for platforms like YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Apply expert color correction and grading techniques for consistent, professional visuals.
• Keep abreast of current trends in video editing and integrate innovative editing methods.
• Utilize AI-driven editing tools and workflows to increase efficiency, quality, and speed of delivery.
• Work closely with the creative team to brainstorm, strategize, and execute content ideas.
• Conduct thorough reviews of final edits to guarantee accuracy, uniformity, and brand compliance.
• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to continually elevate video content quality.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Video and Audio Editor with a solid portfolio.
• Mandatory hands-on experience in podcast production editing.

Essential Skills

• Demonstrable portfolio showcasing professional podcast and social media video editing work.
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, CapCut, and other editing software.
• Keen ability to assess and integrate emerging AI technologies to enhance editing workflows and output quality.
• Capable of working independently, juggling multiple projects, and delivering on time without compromising quality.
