Role Overview

We are seeking a Plant Operative to join our team in Spennymoor. This full-time, permanent role operates 45 hours per week with variation in shift patterns, either Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday during daytime hours. The role is essential to the business and involves diverse tasks within the plant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate customized machinery, especially the Washsmart sanitization system.
• Load and manage the Washsmart system for processing.
• Handle, clean, and perform quality inspections on specialized containers.
• Physically move transporters by lifting, pulling, and pushing.
• Conduct detailed spot checks to ensure quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and general housekeeping in the workplace.
• Comfortably stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has prior experience in production or warehouse settings, particularly in fast-paced environments. Emphasis is placed on teamwork and strong communication skills across the plant operations.
