Personal Driver

Job Summary

This role involves delivering safe, dependable, and discreet transportation for the employer and approved passengers. The driver is expected to keep the assigned vehicle in top condition, choose efficient routes, maintain passenger comfort and safety, and manage transport-related duties with confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the employer, family members, and other authorised passengers to appointments, meetings, airports, and other destinations in a safe manner.
• Identify the most efficient routes so trips are completed on time, taking traffic and road conditions into account.
• Keep the assigned vehicle tidy, well-presented, and fit for road use.
• Carry out everyday vehicle checks, including fuel level, oil, tyre pressure, lights, and other essential systems.
• Arrange and follow up on regular servicing, repairs, and other maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate logs for mileage, fuel use, servicing, and travel.
• Ensure registration, insurance, and licence papers for the vehicle stay current and valid.
• Help load and unload luggage, parcels, and personal items when needed.
• Run occasional errands such as document collection, shopping, or package delivery.
• Handle all personal and business information with complete discretion.
• Comply with traffic laws, company rules, and safety standards at all times.
• Remain available for flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays when necessary.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
• A valid driving licence with a clean driving history is required.
• Experience working as a personal, executive, or chauffeur driver is an advantage.
• Strong familiarity with local roads, traffic rules, and navigation tools is preferred.
• Good verbal communication and professional conduct are important.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle upkeep is beneficial.
