Job Responsibilities
- Design, build, and execute performance test scripts using Apache JMeter and LoadRunner.
- Carry out various types of performance tests such as load, stress, spike, and endurance testing primarily for web applications and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Create detailed test plans, scenarios, scripts, and performance documentation.
- Parameterize, correlate, debug test scripts in JMeter effectively.
- Integrate performance testing within continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes leveraging tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI.
- Analyze server and application logs, alongside monitoring metrics, to assess performance.
- Offer performance optimization recommendations to development teams.
- Utilize version control systems, prominently Git.
- Apply knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, JSON, XML, and Web Services communication protocols.
- Validate database performance and proficiency in SQL queries.
Additional Information
The role demands a hybrid work setup, requiring attendance in the office three days per week in Hyderabad, either at EPAM or client sites depending on project requirements. Candidates should be available to join immediately or within a maximum of 30 days’ notice period. Interviews are to be scheduled promptly to fill this position.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana and time series databases like InfluxDB.
- Familiarity with Docker is considered advantageous.
