Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated People Partner to join our People and Places team. Reporting to the Director of People Business Partners and Employee Relations, this position plays a vital role in supporting employees, senior managers, and Principal People Business Partners with various people programs and experiences across Twitch. The ideal candidate will have a strong business understanding, an ability to connect with employees, and a genuine passion for fostering a positive company culture. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, meticulous follow-through, and building trusted relationships with both the People team and the internal business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with leaders up to senior manager level, serving as a conduit between the People Team and business units.
• Coach senior managers on behaviors that affect employee engagement and retention, promoting effective use of resources for team communication, recognition, and performance discussions.
• Deliver frontline support to employees by responding to questions, managing concerns sensitively, and ensuring proper resolution or escalation of issues.
• Conduct exit interviews and regularly analyze qualitative feedback to inform improvements.
• Collaborate on executing important cyclical employee experience programs alongside Principal People Business Partners and cross-functional partners.
• Partner extensively with internal People and Places teams, various Twitch departments, and Amazon teams to align efforts and enhance the workplace environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite for document preparation, spreadsheet functions, and calendar management.
• Strong commitment to confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• Effective communicator with the ability to clearly explain processes and address diverse audience concerns.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Academic background in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business, Management, Psychology, or related disciplines.
• Certifications such as HRCI (PHR, SPHR) or SHRM are advantageous.
• Experience in customer service or other people-centric roles demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proven analytical skills to assess information, solve problems, and make data-informed decisions.
• Intermediate proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets functions like pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas.
• Familiarity with AI tools, HR analytics platforms, and new technologies to generate insights and optimize processes.
• Excellent organizational capabilities to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain results in a dynamic setting.
• Strong collaborative spirit and adaptability when working across teams with autonomy.
• Sound judgment to navigate ambiguous scenarios with limited guidance.
• Basic knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
• Resourcefulness and proven problem-solving abilities.
