Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and solution-oriented Payroll Officer to join our dynamic team in Brisbane. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing to support our workforce and organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process both weekly and fortnightly payroll cycles, managing elements such as timesheets, leave balances, allowances, deductions, and updates to employee records.
- Ensure payroll compliance by administering superannuation, conducting reconciliations, generating reports, and maintaining precise employee payroll records.
- Deliver prompt payroll-related support to employees and managers while driving ongoing improvements in payroll procedures and systems.
Qualification and Experience
- Demonstrated payroll processing expertise with comprehensive knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards, taxation, and superannuation regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail ensuring accuracy and confidentiality, alongside capability to meet stringent deadlines.
- Proficient in payroll-related systems and administration, including intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication abilities paired with a proactive customer service approach, fostering positive relationships with stakeholders across organizational levels.
