Payroll Analyst - HR Operations

Primary Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end monthly payroll processes including gathering, validating payroll inputs and outputs, and completing statutory reports.
• Engage in improving and rolling out payroll procedures and systems to boost efficiency and accuracy.
• Support payroll and benefits functions in line with updated policies or changes in legislation.
• Generate payroll reports and conduct analyses for the finance department and support both internal and external audits.
• Manage relationships with payroll vendors by rigorously following contractual agreements and SLAs.
• Build and maintain connections with regulatory bodies involving social security, tax, and other relevant authorities.
• Collaborate closely with HR business partners and the HR operations team to improve the overall employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with at least three years of experience managing in-house payroll operations.
• Practical and solid expertise in payroll and tax compliance specific to Singapore.
• Demonstrated ability to perform thorough payroll verification and quality assurance.
• Experience conducting payroll-related legal and compliance audits, including income tax and mandatory social security contributions.
• Strong skills in influencing and managing stakeholders effectively.

• Preferred skills: vendor and project management capabilities, prior involvement in payroll system implementations, and strong communication proficiency.
