About the Role and Company
This part-time permanent position is with GLASSGUARD, an FMCG direct-to-consumer brand committed to designing innovative and efficient cleaning products. The role is fully remote based in Australia and requires a commitment to at least 20 hours weekly, which can be split into a minimum number of hours per day or two full days each week.
Role Overview
The chosen candidate will be responsible for transforming raw footage, user-generated content (UGC), and product videos into polished short-form advertisements tailored primarily for Facebook. These ads are intended to engage viewers effectively and boost product sales.
Responsibilities
- Edit concise videos ranging from 10 to 60 seconds specifically formatted for Facebook advertising.
- Convert UGC, product demonstrations, and lifestyle clips into captivating ad content.
- Incorporate text overlays, captions, transition effects, and audio consistent with the brand's aesthetic and guidelines.
- Develop and test multiple creative variations to facilitate A/B testing of advertisements.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment of visuals and messaging with campaign objectives.
Candidate Requirements
- Skilled in using video editing tools such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent software.
- Experience in creating advertisements or social media videos, ideally within the DTC or FMCG sectors.
- Good grasp of Facebook advertising formats and current trends.
- Strong creativity, meticulous attention to detail, and an ability to deliver work swiftly.
- Capable of working autonomously and adhering to deadlines.
