Job description
Overview
This role is based at Satair in Singapore and is a fixed-term contract for one year. The main function is to act as the central liaison between customers and Satair, managing the full lifecycle of Integrated Material Services (IMS) orders to guarantee timely parts delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service for IMS clients.
- Translate customer needs into effective fulfillment actions.
- Serve as primary communication point between customers and internal departments throughout the order process.
- Closely track open orders, drive internal teams proactively, and manage customers' expectations regarding delivery timelines.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to ensure orders are delivered on schedule.
- Proactively update relevant parties on order statuses, especially concerning delays or critical parts.
- Coordinate resolution of technical and commercial queries by utilizing Airbus Technical Documentation and collaborating with Airbus technical, engineering, or commercial teams.
- Hand over necessary tasks and information to the 24/7 backup team.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Provide prompt and accurate responses to all customer and internal inquiries.
- Monitor KPIs connected to material order processes.
- Aid the Solutions Delivery Manager in preparing operational reports and participate in customer meetings when required.
- Contribute actively as part of the IMS local team to achieve organizational targets.
- Collaborate with Planning Specialists to ensure quality data supports the material planning workflow.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Aerospace, or relevant professional experience.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related role.
- Knowledge of the aviation industry, specifically managing spares supply chains.
- Strong technical and process-oriented capabilities, including the ability to interpret technical documentation.
- Customer-focused mindset with the skill to develop innovative solutions.
- Ability to perform well under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle unexpected challenges effectively.
- Proficient in data analysis tools such as databases and Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with SAP R/3 is a plus.
