About the company
Grip is focused on modernizing cold-chain logistics for direct-to-consumer eCommerce brands. Established in 2022 by former ButcherBox leaders, the company blends software and a nationwide fulfillment footprint to improve how perishables are shipped. Its Smart Logistics Engine evaluates more than 25 million data points each day, including weather, carrier performance, and live temperature data, to choose the best shipping path at the package level. Grip’s Pulse Order Management System provides live inventory visibility, batch traceability, and integrations with platforms such as Shopify. With temperature-controlled fulfillment centers in strategic locations, the company can reach over 80% of the U.S. population within 24 hours. The mission is to help DTC brands scale with logistics built for the challenges of shipping temperature-sensitive products.

This role acts as the coordination hub for daily execution: maintaining task lists, pushing projects ahead, following up on commitments, and making sure priorities are completed on time. You will work closely with facility managers, operations leaders, and cross-functional teammates so that plans turn into action without losing track of details.
Key responsibilities

- Coordinate daily operational initiatives from launch through completion while keeping all involved teams aligned.
- Create and maintain clear trackers and task lists that give leadership an accurate view of progress.
- Spot obstacles early and help coordinate practical solutions to keep work on schedule.
- Follow up on pending tasks, reinforce commitments, and escalate delays when needed.
- Set a regular cadence for check-ins, status reporting, and team updates.
- Work with managers to monitor progress toward operational goals and surface gaps quickly.
- Make sure meeting decisions are converted into completed actions and measurable results.
- Record warehouse SOPs, workflow changes, and process updates to support consistency across shifts.
- Track warehouse KPIs such as order accuracy, throughput, dwell time, and fill rates, and alert operations leadership when metrics drift.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying workflow bottlenecks and recommending data-backed solutions.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in operations, project coordination, or a similar position in a fast-moving environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage several projects at once and carry them through to completion.
- A strong ownership mindset with the ability to keep work moving and hold others accountable professionally.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort using project management platforms such as Asana, Monday.com, Trello, or similar tools.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets for tracking and reporting.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory tracking tools.
- Exposure to cold-chain or temperature-controlled fulfillment operations is a plus.
- Ability to analyze supply chain metrics and turn data into operational actions.
- Background in logistics, warehousing, or fulfillment is beneficial.
- Willingness and ability to work in a cold storage facility in Texas.
