Job description
Position Summary
The OMNI Department Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their shopping requirements. This role supports the Online Grocery and Walmart.ca operational processes both directly and through coordination with OMNI Associates. The Manager collaborates as part of a team to strategically plan and carry out duties based on workflow demands and customer traffic trends.
Key Duties
- Participate actively in training and developing all OMNI Associates to enhance team capabilities.
- Manage Back Office setups which include reviewing upcoming grocery order summaries, daily pickup reports, verifying daily orders, identifying payment exceptions and product picks, assessing workload by product category, allocating CFAs, updating staging whiteboards, and configuring handhelds/printers for CFAs.
- Regularly monitor email and AMP+ platforms for any action items requiring attention.
- Perform daily picking duties when necessary. Carry out post-pick activities including clearing and organizing Service Stations, cleaning totes, upholding e-commerce cleaning standards, and ensuring the Back Office is clean, organized, and ready for the following day.
- Exemplify leadership by greeting customers politely, assisting them by promoting products and services, helping locate merchandise, and supporting purchase decisions.
Compensation
The starting hourly wage for this position is $17.10.
