Department Overview
The Offshore Supply Chain Department at Vestas manages logistics and warehouse tasks on board Service Operations and Jack-Up Vessels. This department supports the Offshore Special Projects and Service teams responsible for installation, maintenance, and servicing of wind turbines in various European sea wind farms. The culture is informal and open, highly emphasizing teamwork and communication.

Key Responsibilities
- Picking, issuing, and receiving materials and spare parts for technician teams
- Maintaining continual communication with service teams to ensure timely supply of necessary tools and equipment
- Managing stock levels and updating inventory records using SAP ERP system
- Performing precise material postings and regular stock inventories
- Ensuring warehouse and workspace cleanliness and safety compliance
- Coordinating goods transportation and customs clearance during port calls
- Handling PPE, hoists, testing instruments, and calibration-required equipment management
- Serving as the designated person for on-site calibration activities
- Requesting quotations for local purchases and initiating purchase orders
- Overseeing proper waste management and offloading processes on vessels and ports
- Arranging urgent spare parts delivery to wind farms as needed
- Supporting Service Site Management with various organizational and administrative duties
Candidate Profile
- Apprenticeship completed or degree earned in warehouse management, logistics, or a related discipline
- Prior experience working in warehousing environments; wind industry knowledge is an advantage
- Valid driver's license
- Experience with customs clearance and declarations is preferred
- Proficiency in SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, TMS, and ERP software such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics AX
- Strong communication abilities and confidence using English
- Good office and site management skills
- Excellent time management and task prioritization capabilities
- Commitment to comply with all relevant local laws and regulations
