Role overview
This position supports occupational health and employee wellbeing operations for a client’s EHS team in San Jose. The focus is on day-to-day health program coordination, clinic operations support, health checkup administration, and smooth delivery of local health-related initiatives. The role also contributes to standardization, reporting, governance, and, when needed, non-China health operations reporting, compliance tracking, and cross-market coordination.
Core responsibilities
- Run daily EHS health and wellbeing operations in San Jose, including occupational health coordination, clinic coordination, employee wellbeing support, health checkup administration, and related operational tasks with consistent execution.
- Work closely with San Jose clinics, regional EHS partners, business teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure health-related work is carried out efficiently, with clear ownership and timely escalation when needed.
- Assist with AMS regional health checkup programs by coordinating vendors, sharing process details, guiding employees, supporting scheduling, tracking issues, maintaining records, and improving workflows over time.
- Help launch and manage local health and wellbeing programs through communications, scheduling, logistics, documentation, follow-up actions, and post-program review tracking.
- Support employee health case coordination along with follow-up documentation and action tracking as required.
- Contribute to the creation, rollout, and continuous improvement of EHS health and wellbeing procedures, training content, awareness efforts, and operational processes.
- Keep EHS records, trackers, program documentation, and operational data up to date to support routine reporting, compliance follow-up, management visibility, trend review, and planning.
- Assist with aligning operations to local occupational health laws and regulations, corporate EHS expectations, internal standards, policies, procedures, and business needs, including documentation preparedness and defensible execution.
- Prepare operational summaries, dashboards, and review materials to improve program visibility.
Preferred background
The ideal candidate has experience in health operations, wellbeing program support, clinic coordination, benefits-related operations, health checkup program management, EHS administration, or similar work. Experience in employee benefits, wellness operations, and employee health programs is especially valuable.
Working style and environment
This is a W2 full-time, long-term, stable role based on-site at 1199 Coleman Avenue, San Jose. The work requires strong coordination, communication, follow-up, documentation, reporting, and attention to detail. Confidentiality awareness, comfort with trackers or dashboards, and the ability to handle both routine tasks and project work in a fast-paced setting are important.
Compensation and benefits
The gross annual salary is $95,000 to $130,000, with final pay negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
