About the Role

We are seeking a skilled nursing professional to join our team as an Occupational Health Nurse based at our Addington clinic in Christchurch, Canterbury. This role involves delivering top-tier occupational health services to diverse clients, ensuring seamless and efficient service operations. Your expertise in nursing assessment, clinical judgement, and effective communication will play a pivotal role in helping organisations maintain the health, safety, and well-being of their workforce. The position offers variety, including opportunities to work on contracts related to social rehabilitation, concussion, and vocational rehabilitation.

Travel around the region is a requirement for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical occupational health assessments and provide clear, comprehensive feedback to clients.
• Maintain precise records and ensure prompt reporting of all activities.
• Efficiently manage medical equipment, appointments scheduling, and patient record systems.
• Develop and sustain strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
• Actively promote Habit Health’s services and identify new opportunities to assist current and prospective customers.

Candidate Profile

• Registered Nurse holding a current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate.
• At least five years’ experience in occupational health nursing.
• Strong communication, organisational skills, and effective time management.
• A professional, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Capacity to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Familiarity with relevant legislation such as Privacy, Health & Safety, and health information regulations.
• Proficient with clinical software and digital tools.
• Possession of a valid New Zealand driver’s licence.
