Role Overview

The NSW Workers Compensation Eligibility Specialist is responsible for delivering accurate, timely determinations on mental health claims eligibility, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders. Permanent and contract positions are available.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct eligibility assessments with high precision and adhere to legislated deadlines, privacy requirements, and Allianz policies.
• Improve the quality of decision-making and written communication to support sustainable claims outcomes and minimize unnecessary investigations.
• Maintain data accuracy and uphold professionalism in all forms of communication.
• Identify opportunities to refine processes and enhance support tools for greater efficiency.
• Pursue ongoing development of technical and professional skills through training and courses.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in Workers Compensation technical aspects and/or legal or employee relations contexts.
• Exceptional attention to detail in work outputs.
• Advanced written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capacity to analyze complex information and make informed, compliant, organization-aligned decisions.
• Comprehensive understanding of relevant laws and legislative requirements.
