Job description
Role Summary
This role is responsible for assisting and supporting users of the NOV Time system, including managers, employees, power users, and HR personnel. The analyst will ensure consistent and correct use of the system by managing training, onboarding materials, communications, and conducting audits of user activities to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Support month-end timekeeping period closure activities, including handling missing approvals and clearing exceptions aligned with the country payroll calendar.
- Report any technical system issues to the relevant application support teams promptly.
- Carry out monthly operational audits of the global timekeeping system to verify data accuracy and compliance with user policies as a quality control measure.
- Coordinate with local HR and power users to address audit findings and implement monitoring and corrective actions, enhancing end-user adherence.
- Prepare detailed monthly quality control reports and dashboards for HR management review.
- Maintain and distribute timekeeping training resources to all user groups, ensuring comprehensive onboarding and orientation through ongoing communications and routines.
- Deliver virtual training sessions to HR, power users, and other business users to promote effective system adoption.
- Maintain a global Power User group log tracking business coverage and system change updates.
- Collaborate with the technical timekeeping team and HR/payroll departments to update training materials emphasizing system efficiency, compliance, continuous improvement, and audit feedback integration.
- Execute and document audit controls related to end-user maintenance, working in conjunction with local HR stakeholders as necessary.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- 2 to 5 years of experience supporting HRIS, payroll, or time and attendance systems.
- Preferred experience with global or multi-country HR/payroll processes.
- Proven ability in delivering user training and creating educational materials.
- Experience in conducting operational audits and compliance reporting.
- Background in shared services or global HR technology environments is a plus.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
