About the Role

Join H&P as a Night Toolpusher where your leadership and operational expertise will drive safe and efficient drilling activities on-site in Saudi Arabia. Our team is our greatest asset, and in this role, you'll play a pivotal part overseeing rig operations to meet company standards and project goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain rigorous safety standards ensuring all tasks comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and legal regulations.
• Direct and supervise the rig crew by delegating duties, prioritizing operations, and managing daily workflows effectively.
• Engage actively in the recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations of rig personnel to maintain a skilled and motivated team.
• Set project goals and devise detailed operational plans aligned with senior management’s strategic guidance including manpower and resource planning.
• Continuously monitor drilling operations to meet performance and safety benchmarks; propose and implement procedural enhancements as necessary.
• Update and improve operating standards, practices, and programs to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Communicate clearly and consistently with the team using both verbal and written methods to ensure cohesion and clarity.
• Conduct thorough investigations of incidents, accidents, and near misses, documenting findings appropriately.
• Organize and oversee the setup, dismantling, and relocation of drilling rigs following detailed planning.
• Manage logistics for supplies including drilling tools, fuel, water, and other essential materials ensuring timely delivery.
• Perform regular rig inspections and compile comprehensive condition reports to maintain operational readiness.
• Monitor equipment status to guarantee preventive maintenance is performed promptly and effectively.
• Assess wellbore conditions and effectively communicate drilling results to relevant parties.
• Act as the primary liaison between on-site operators and client representatives to facilitate smooth operations and address queries.
• Produce detailed operational reports highlighting progress, challenges, and equipment requisites for management review.
