Role Overview

This full-time role based in Lusaka requires the Mobile Game Player to engage in daily training sessions, ranked matches, and team competitions across various mobile titles. Key duties involve practicing game mechanics, mastering team strategies, assessing match performances, and staying informed of game updates and meta changes. The player will collaborate closely with coaches and teammates, participate in team meetings, and help create content such as live streams, recorded gameplay, and social media highlights. Additionally, the player will represent Zampeak in tournaments, promotional activities, and community outreach programs.

Qualifications and Skills

• Advanced proficiency in mobile gaming with strong game mechanics, strategic planning, and rapid decision-making.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills including effective collaboration and clear in-game communication with respect for all team members.
• Strong competitive drive and discipline demonstrated by commitment to regular practice, continuous improvement, and adherence to coaching instructions.
• Basic digital literacy related to mobile devices, gaming applications, and communication platforms used during training and team coordination.
• Dependable professional conduct highlighted by punctuality, schedule adherence, and readiness to participate in competitive events.
• Genuine interest in esports, gaming career paths, and ongoing personal growth in the digital entertainment arena.
• Willingness and ability to work onsite in Lusaka and meet the physical and scheduling demands of full-time competitive gaming.
• Previous experience in competitive gaming, esports teams, or tournament participation is beneficial but not mandatory.
