About the Role
Join a dynamic private energy company based in Houston, TX as a Midstream Financial Analyst. This role offers the chance to engage deeply with budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis within midstream operations, contributing crucial insights to support strategic decisions in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and oversee operating and capital budgets to ensure financial discipline.
- Deliver forecasts, variance analyses, and comprehensive financial reports.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models related to midstream assets.
- Evaluate capital expenditures, operating expenses, overall profitability, and asset performance metrics.
- Assist in pricing strategies, infrastructure valuation, and acquisition assessments.
- Design and manage dashboards and executive-level reports to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate effectively across departments including Accounting, Operations, Land, and Commercial teams.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Between 3 to 8 years of experience in finance, financial planning & analysis, accounting, or within the oil and gas sector.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and expertise in financial modeling.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and conducting financial analysis.
- Previous exposure to midstream or upstream energy industry work is highly advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive base salary ranging from $90,000 to $130,000 per year.
