Job Overview
The Meter Operations Analyst plays a crucial role within Metergy’s Operations team, focusing on supporting, maintaining, and servicing installed submetering systems. This position acts as a liaison between operations, field services, clients, customers, property managers, and contractors, ensuring meter-related tasks such as service ticket management, field activity coordination, and access arrangements are carried out efficiently and safely with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and prioritize meter-related service tickets and operational requests.
- Coordinate field service activities with internal teams and external contractors to ensure timely work completion.
- Arrange site and building access by liaising with clients, property managers, customers, residents, and other stakeholders.
- Act as the main communication point for scheduling and access coordination among all parties.
- Prepare detailed work orders, service requests, and instructions to facilitate operational activities.
- Monitor service ticket statuses, track progress, and follow up on pending tasks to ensure prompt resolutions.
- Communicate updates regarding schedules, site requirements, work progress, and completion details to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain meticulous records and update operational databases and documentation related to services and fieldwork.
- Support issue investigation and resolution concerning meter-related problems by gathering necessary information.
- Initiate and contribute to ongoing improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Deliver professional and responsive customer service when interacting with all involved parties.
- Perform additional duties supporting the operations team as necessary.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma or degree from college or university in Business, Engineering, Utilities, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- One to three years of experience in planning and scheduling operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, SharePoint) and other relevant software; familiarity with MS Power Automate is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with a professional approach that fosters positive customer relationships.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Possession of a valid Ontario Driver’s License.
