Role Summary

This full-time, on-site Merchandiser position in Tiruppur Taluka is responsible for overseeing the complete order lifecycle. Key duties include coordinating sampling, securing approvals, and managing bulk production across knitting, dyeing, and garment units. The role requires constant communication with suppliers and cross-functional teams to monitor production schedules, address challenges, and uphold quality and compliance standards. The Merchandiser is also involved in preparing production plans, cost analyses, and maintaining order documentation, while supporting pricing strategies and factory negotiations. Additional responsibilities encompass overseeing fabric and trim availability, performing line inspections, aiding shipment planning, and providing timely updates to customer service.

Qualifications and Skills

• Excellent communication for effective liaison with mills, internal departments, and customers
• Strong customer service and relationship management to facilitate seamless order execution
• Sales and marketing acumen to present sourcing solutions, assist in pricing discussions, and align production with client requirements
• Industry experience in retail, apparel, or textiles with knowledge of knitwear manufacturing and garment-dyeing processes
• Meticulous attention to detail and competency in production tracking tools, spreadsheets, and reporting
• Willingness and ability to work on-site in Tiruppur Taluka and conduct factory visits as necessary
• Preferred: Hands-on experience in merchandising, sourcing, or production within knitwear, and familiarity with export documentation and compliance protocols
• Preferred educational background: Diploma or degree in textiles, fashion, merchandising, supply chain management, or related fields
