You should be capable of working independently in maintenance operations and should bring practical experience in maintaining factory utilities, shop-floor machines, and MEP systems. Strong awareness of safety, compliance, and documentation practices is essential.
Experience and qualifications
- A diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or HVAC Engineering from a reputed institute is required.
- Relevant experience of 6 to 10 years is needed in precision engineering, defence manufacturing, heavy engineering, pharma, or data center environments, preferably in a European manufacturing setup.
- At least 3 years of this experience should be in independent maintenance responsibility in a mid-sized factory.
- Knowledge of safety standards and facility maintenance practices is required.
Mandatory compliance and certifications
- Valid Electrical Supervisor License, if mandated by state law.

- Practical experience with shop-floor machines and utility equipment maintenance.
- State-specific Electrical Supervisor license.
- Familiarity with CEA compliance requirements.
- HVAC certification.

- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving capability.
Security and workplace expectations
You will be expected to follow Saab’s security procedures and maintain a high level of safety awareness at all times. The role is subject to applicable security protection checks and vetting approval.
