Role Overview
This full-time remote opportunity is for a Member of Technical Staff focused on AI Engineering. You will build and ship AI/ML solutions at scale, with an emphasis on model development, deployment, and inference performance in demanding production environments. The work also includes designing high-performance computing setups and partnering with other teams to bring AI features into live products and services.
What You Will Do
- Create and deploy scalable AI and machine learning systems, covering training workflows, inference tuning, and production release pipelines.
- Build and support computing infrastructure for AI workloads, with attention to efficient use of resources and strong runtime performance.
- Work closely with software engineers to embed AI models into applications and customer-facing services.
- Improve model efficiency using methods such as quantization, pruning, and hardware-based acceleration.
- Explore and apply newer AI/ML methods to boost accuracy, speed, and overall system efficiency.
Skills and Qualifications
You should be comfortable working in Python and have hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX. The role also calls for familiarity with distributed processing tools like Apache Spark or Dask, along with knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Experience with containers and orchestration tools including Docker and Kubernetes is important, as is exposure to model deployment and inference optimization tools such as ONNX and TensorRT. A solid grasp of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering fundamentals is expected.
Compensation
The stated pay range is USD 160,000 to USD 300,000 per year.
