Role overview
An established medical communications agency is looking for an experienced Medical Writer to strengthen its expanding scientific team. The position is suited to someone who wants to contribute to high-calibre medical affairs and publication projects for major pharmaceutical and biotech clients while working in a collaborative, research-driven setting.
What you'll do
- Translate intricate scientific information into content that is clear, succinct, and easy to understand.
- Work with colleagues across functions to build engaging scientific narratives that support medical progress.
- Make sure all work aligns with relevant industry guidance and regulatory expectations.
- Carry out thorough research to stay current with new developments in the medical field.
- Develop educational and promotional materials that help bring innovative treatments to patients around the world.
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical communications agency.
- Excellent writing skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and a strong focus on client needs.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail, plus the ability to adapt technical information for different audiences.
- A self-driven approach to learning and keeping up with industry changes.
- Background in medical affairs and publications work.
- Ability to commute to London or Manchester.
