About the Company and Role
Amir Chand Engg Works, located at Plot No. 4, Ram Bagh, Backside Transport Nagar, Focal Point, Jalandhar, Punjab, is seeking qualified Mechanical Engineers for a full-time position. This role involves production support, interpreting engineering drawings, product development tasks, and overseeing shop floor activities in a stable industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings.
- Oversee production activities ensuring compliance with engineering specifications.
- Support and contribute to product development processes.
- Coordinate efficiently with production and workshop teams.
- Ensure quality assurance and dimensional accuracy of products.
- Supervise and guide shop floor workers according to drawing requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of production and development operations.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Mandatory expertise in reading and comprehending mechanical drawings.
- Familiarity with product development methodologies.
- Experience in production supervision and workshop coordination.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality inspection techniques.
- Strong grasp of mechanical engineering principles and technical documentation.
Candidate Eligibility
- Open to both male and female applicants.
- Minimum qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 6 months relevant experience in manufacturing or production preferred.
- Fresh diploma graduates with excellent drawing interpretation skills will also be considered.
