About the Role and Company
Join Ebbett Marketing in Te Rapa, Hamilton, as a Marketing Automation & Webflow Developer responsible for managing and enhancing the marketing automation and Webflow infrastructure. Ebbett supports 29 leading automotive brands across 18 North Island dealerships, emphasizing data-driven solutions, collaboration, and technology to deliver outstanding marketing results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain multi-step workflows primarily using n8n, alongside migrating relevant workflows from Make, Zapier, and other platforms.
- Manage complex lead-routing systems across various brands and dealerships to ensure efficient lead distribution.
- Integrate websites and forms with CRM, DMS, email, booking, and related systems via REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and JSON.
- Map, transform, and validate data between platforms; maintain integrations with tools like Mailjet and Calendly.
- Implement monitoring solutions including alerts and error handling to maintain workflow reliability.
- Maintain synchronization of vehicle inventory and automated stock workflows, supporting feeds into the Ebbett website and external platforms like Meta catalogues.
- Troubleshoot issues related to XML, JSON, and API feeds ensuring accurate and timely vehicle listings.
- Design and improve Webflow websites, landing pages, forms, and booking processes using Client-First methodology for clean, scalable class naming.
- Develop CMS Collections, reusable components, templates, and dynamic content within Webflow to create responsive layouts across devices.
- Apply HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as needed, resolving website and performance issues, and collaborate with external specialists on complex projects.
- Support website operations including forms, domain management, DNS, SSL certificates, Cloudflare, and subscription services.
- Maintain code repositories and version control using GitHub.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Studio, IT, Data teams, and external partners translating business requirements into feasible technical solutions and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- At least four years of experience in automation, systems integration, marketing technology, web development, or similar technical roles.
- A minimum of two years hands-on experience building and maintaining production Webflow websites.
- Proficiency with automation tools such as n8n, Make, and Zapier, with strong confidence in n8n.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, JSON, and API authentication mechanisms.
- Experience handling forms, data validation, field mapping, and complex lead-routing configurations.
- Demonstrated ability with Client-First framework and solid knowledge of Webflow CMS, responsive design, Flexbox, and CSS Grid.
- Competent in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for web development tasks.
- Familiarity with DNS management, Cloudflare, caching strategies, and web hosting environments.
- Experience maintaining GitHub or other version control repositories.
- Strong troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and communication capabilities.
Additional assets include familiarity with Mailjet, Calendly, Google Tag Manager, GA4, AI integrations, Meta catalogues, or automotive inventory feeds.
