About the Role
This position is with a renewable energy developer and investor focused on microgrid and integrated energy projects for mines, industrial and commercial facilities, data centers, and large-scale off-grid, semi-grid, and grid-connected solar-plus-storage applications in the Middle East.
The company is looking for a candidate who understands microgrid market development and investment opportunities in the Middle East.
Key Responsibilities
- Build business for the new energy market in the Middle East, including microgrid projects, grid-connected IPP investments, and cash-based project opportunities.
- Engage with overseas industrial and commercial clients and take part in commercial negotiations.
- Manage project leads, organize and summarize project information, and prepare project reports.
- With support from relevant teams, carry out project evaluation and analysis, develop integrated technical and investment solutions, and present and negotiate project highlights with clients.
- Industry exposure to mining, smelting, energy-intensive industrial and commercial operations, and data centers is a strong advantage.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree or higher from a well-regarded university, preferably in engineering, science, or a related foreign language discipline such as English, Arabic, Persian, or Turkish. Chinese should be the native language, and English must be fluent enough to be used as the main working language.
The role requires 1 to 3 years of experience in renewable energy or overseas infrastructure investment and construction, along with the ability to develop projects.
Strong interpersonal ability, clear communication, teamwork, and an entrepreneurial mindset are important for completing market development and project proposal work with support from leadership and back-office teams.
Work Location and Compensation
Preferred placement is in Saudi Arabia or the UAE. Domestic base options are Changsha or Beijing.
The position offers a salary that is competitive within the industry, along with support for overseas travel. Employees may receive allowances for business trips abroad or long-term overseas assignment.
