About the Company
Hugel, established in 2001, is a South Korea–headquartered global medical aesthetics company focused on creating and commercializing botulinum toxin, hyaluronic acid fillers, skin boosters, threads, and biocosmetics. In the last twenty years, the business has grown into a worldwide operation with commercial reach in about 70 countries and a network of nine international subsidiaries.
Building on that international momentum, Hugel Aesthetics was created as the company’s North American business division to drive commercialization in the United States, Canada, and Australia. Supported by Hugel’s scale and expertise, the organization is growth-focused and aims to expand access to Letybo while building a durable position in the medical aesthetics market.
Company Culture
The U.S. team is being built from the ground up, with a culture designed to be different from heavily layered traditional organizations. This is an early-stage opportunity to help shape the business and influence how the team works, leads, and develops together.
The environment values accountability, collaboration, initiative, and open contribution. Team members are encouraged to share ideas, take ownership, and help build the company with speed and flexibility. This role is best suited to someone who performs well in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial setting and enjoys working through ambiguity.
Role Overview
The Manager, Medical Education & Training bridges clinical quality and commercial execution. The role supports the independent injection trainer network and serves as a key operational and development resource. It requires clinical credibility, comfort with complexity, and strong ownership of quality and performance across a distributed network.
This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys creating programs, developing clinical capability, and working with precision in a dynamic environment where the work has a lasting impact.
Trainer Network Operations
- Act as the central coordinator for Hugel’s injection trainer network, handling end-to-end training logistics, keeping the master schedule current, and aligning with practices, facilities, and 1099 trainers.
- Arrange trainer coverage across territories and manage communication with practices before and after training sessions.
- Deliver training directly to accounts when needed.
- Keep a single source of truth for trainer credentials, professional licenses such as RN, NP, PA, and MD, malpractice coverage, and contract status, with active renewal monitoring and compliance follow-up.
- Prepare and administer 1099 contractor agreements, including updates and yearly renewals.
- Review, validate, and process trainer invoices and expense claims while identifying irregularities and preserving audit-ready documentation.
Trainer Development & Quality Assurance
- Own the quality and clinical relevance of the trainer network through structured development initiatives and ongoing performance management.
- Plan and support train-the-trainer sessions covering injection technique, patient safety, off-label guidance, and compliance requirements.
- Track continuing education completion and share product updates, safety notices, and protocol revisions with the network.
- Review trainer performance data, including satisfaction, feedback, and compliance, and initiate corrective action plans where needed.
- Carry out periodic competency reviews and support peer-to-peer learning activities.
Trainer Recruitment & Network Growth
- Support expansion of the trainer network through a structured process for sourcing, evaluating, and onboarding new injection trainers.
- Create and maintain the procedures used to identify, screen, and integrate new trainers.
- Run formal assessment steps such as interviews, credential checks, hands-on skill evaluations, and cultural fit reviews.
- Recommend candidates to the hiring committee, oversee onboarding, and conduct exit interviews for trainers who leave.
Required Qualifications
- Active clinical license or advanced qualification such as RN, NP, PA, PharmD, or an equivalent credential; prior exposure to aesthetics or dermatology is strongly preferred.
- Solid knowledge of 1099 contractor administration, credentialing, and healthcare compliance requirements.
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to handle several concurrent responsibilities across a distributed group.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort working with healthcare providers, trainers, and internal teams.
- Background in medical aesthetics, specialty pharma, or another regulated commercial setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating or delivering clinical education or train-the-trainer programs.
- Knowledge of injection training coordination within aesthetics or dermatology.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
How You Work
- You bring a clinically informed mindset along with disciplined execution.
- You stay highly organized and can manage competing priorities without losing track of details.
- You work well across functions and build trust with both clinical and commercial partners.
- You take full ownership of your work and hold yourself accountable for outcomes.
- You are comfortable working through ambiguity and energized by early-stage company building.
Compensation
The expected base salary range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000 per year. Final compensation will depend on factors such as experience, tenure, skills, and business needs. Base pay is only one part of the overall package, which may also include bonuses or sales incentives.
