Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site position in Dubai for a Logistics Sales Executive. The role is centered on finding new business, developing client relationships, and selling freight forwarding services across air, sea, and land transport. The position also requires close coordination with operations and customer service teams to make sure shipments run smoothly and clients receive prompt updates.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for generating sales opportunities, building a healthy pipeline, and converting leads into business. The job also includes preparing quotations, presenting service proposals, negotiating pricing and terms, and managing follow-ups. In addition, you will work with internal teams to support shipment execution, handle client communication, and maintain customer satisfaction. Monitoring market movements, competitor activity, and client feedback will also be part of the role to help improve sales approach and support growth.
Qualifications and Experience
The role calls for strong ability in sales, business development, and negotiation, with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets in logistics or a related field. Candidates should understand freight forwarding, shipping operations, and regional trade routes, especially across the Middle East, Asia, and Europe. Strong verbal and written communication, presentation ability, and relationship management are important. The ability to handle several accounts at once, stay organized, and use CRM systems and common office tools accurately is also needed. A customer-first mindset, good problem-solving skills, and careful attention to pricing, documentation, and service coordination are expected.
Additional Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a similar area is preferred. Experience in logistics sales, freight forwarding, or shipping is considered a strong advantage. English fluency is required, and knowledge of additional regional languages is an added benefit. Applicants must be comfortable working on-site in Dubai and traveling locally or across the region for client meetings when necessary.
Performance Expectations
This position is target-driven and includes monthly sales goals. Candidates should have 2 to 3 years of experience in logistics sales, including freight forwarding, customer acquisition, and account management.
