Company Overview

IIQAF Group, operating in the hospitality sector in Dubai, is looking to hire a diligent and well-organized Logistics Coordinator to strengthen its supply chain and logistics operations.

Job Summary

The Logistics Coordinator will oversee the handling and movement of goods, food supplies, hospitality equipment, and inventory. They will ensure seamless supply chain processes to support hotels, restaurants, catering services, and other hospitality venues effectively and punctually.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily logistics activities including transport scheduling and delivery coordination for hospitality operations.
• Plan and supervise transportation of food, beverages, supplies, equipment, and materials necessary for hospitality functions.
• Liaise with suppliers, warehouses, transporters, vendors, and internal departments to guarantee timely shipments and resolve any delivery hurdles promptly.
• Maintain comprehensive records of logistics operations such as inventory reports, delivery documentation, and shipping schedules.
• Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishments to avoid product shortages.
• Assist procurement teams with tracking orders and vendor communications.
• Generate and manage purchase orders, invoices, delivery notes, and related logistics paperwork.
• Ensure adherence to food safety norms, proper storage guidelines, and organizational logistics standards.
• Coordinate activities related to warehouse receiving, stock transfers, and distribution logistics.
• Improve route planning and transportation scheduling to enhance operational efficiency.
• Oversee logistics cost analysis and suggest optimizations to curtail expenses.
• Prepare performance reports including key logistics KPIs.
• Support logistics aspects of hospitality events, including coordinating supplies and equipment.
• Foster effective relationships with suppliers, freight agents, and internal stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a similar discipline.
• Prior experience in roles such as Logistics Coordinator, Supply Chain Coordinator, Warehouse Coordinator, Distribution Coordinator, Procurement Coordinator, or related positions is desirable.
• Experience in hospitality sectors like hotels, restaurants, catering, or in retail/FMCG industries is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of logistics operations including inventory and warehouse management, transportation coordination, and procurement processes.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, warehouse management systems, or logistics software platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-moving hospitality environment.
