Role Purpose
Joining DACHSER Ireland as an apprentice, you will actively engage in shaping your own apprenticeship journey by rotating through several departments to deepen your logistics expertise. You'll expand your professional network within the company and collaborate on diverse projects with both national and international reach. Programme Details
This apprenticeship spans two years, combining one day per week of online learning through ATU Sligo with four days working on-site at DACHSER's Rathcoole premises in Co. Dublin. Successful completion awards a Level 6 QQI certification alongside a full C+E driving license.
Eligibility and Entry Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the programme start.
- A clean category 'B' Driving Licence is mandatory.
- Educational prerequisites include having achieved H7/O6 grades or higher in five Leaving Certificate subjects, with at least an O6 grade in English and O6 or B2 in Mathematics Foundation Level.
- Alternately, candidates may qualify through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
- Mature applicants over 23 years without specified Leaving Certificate qualifications can apply given they have a minimum of 2 years relevant sector experience supported by a reference letter.
