About the Role
As a Local Business Banker, you will cultivate, acquire, and nurture strong relationships with Small Business clients, collaborating closely with referral sources and various banking channels. Your focus will be on both Home Lending and Business Lending, assisting customers across diverse markets. Working proactively and with flexibility, you will strive to provide an exceptional customer journey. This position is embedded within the local community, operating from a branch in Bundaberg and the Wide Bay-Burnett area. Additionally, you will expand your customer base through robust external and internal referral networks.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage lasting relationships with small business customers.
- Collaborate with referral partners and banking channels to grow the business.
- Provide expert advice and solutions in Home Lending and Business Lending.
- Network extensively to expand the customer base both internally and externally.
- Work flexibly and independently to ensure optimal client service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in Small Business and Home Lending sectors.
- Demonstrated success in generating new business within financial services and local markets.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a passion for building and maintaining networks.
- Proven ability to consistently exceed customer expectations.
- Strong commercial understanding and organizational skills for independent workload management.
